How fun and cute are these? I don’t often get crafty with my baking, but the holidays are an exception.
I’m all about busting out the moves for the wow factor. I originally created cookie pop for Delish Dish, and since riffed on like you see here by giving it a Fluffer Nutter spin.
But since we still have a few weeks to go before the big day. I’d love hear what you are doing to get your Halloween craft on—be it food, fun crafts or entertaining tips and ideas. To get the party started I’ve partnered up with Fanta and Nutter Butter as part of their Spooky Snack Lab Halloween campaign to bring you fun filled treats like these Mummy Cookie Pops and these Truffle Bats here.
How fun are these and if you are hosting a party, you can even set up a cookie pop station where kids and adults can assemble their own little mummy. To stay with the Halloween theme and keep things interactive serve Orange and Grape Fanta into plastic cups and leave a few black Sharpies near so that instead of writing their names on the cup, each guest can draw a ghost face on it instead. See how it’s the little things that can make a party all that more fun!
Now for even more inspiration, head over to my Halloween Pinterest Board for all kinds food and crafts. In case you need more convincing, check out this fun video. Now are you ready . . . I’m also giving away $500 gift card—whoo hoo!!
FLUFFER NUTTER MUMMY POPS
YIELD: Makes 8 cookie pops
Ingredients:
- 11 oz. chocolate, melted
- 8 Nutter Butters
- 8 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
- 8 popsicle sticks
- 1 cup buttercream frosting (homemade or store bought)
Directions:
Preparation: Line a bake sheet with parchment paper.
Split Nutter Butter cookie open and spread 1 tablespoon of marshmallow fluff onto filling. Insert popsicle stick into center of filling, press cookies back together. Dip assembled cookie pop into melted chocolate until completely coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into pan. Place dipped cookie onto prepared pan to dry and set, about 25 minutes (to speed up the process place filled baking sheet in refrigerator for 10 minutes).
Fill a pastry bag fitted with a straight flat tip and pipe from side-to-side. For the eyes use ready-made royal icing eyes or Mini M&Ms and lightly cover backside with frosting and press onto cookie pop. Set aside for at least 1 hour to fully set.
